Gastronomic tours

Do You know that cooking is an art? An art which you have to study long and carefully,  and only the best ones get the title of chef. Do you know that in a good restaurant often chef earns more than the owner, and that he is requested always and everywhere? Of course, this can happen only where people love to eat good, pay a special attention to a delicious and healthy food, and also love to cook themselves. Every country has its concept of a healthy food, and no one can argue with them:  tastes differ. And why argue? Just try, and eat... and gain a pleasure.

Exactly this art of culinary will be discovered in  our gastronomic tours.  Just a short while...with bated breath...and you will experience the process of food preparation as it is seen in France, in Italy, in Israel, in Baltic states... Try, enjoy and only after you will be able to judge to whom you give your preference and where the cooking is a real art. And now just bring the new experience home and surprise your family and friends with new, delicious dishes and with stories about your unforgettable corporate event – gastronomic tour.

Cooking classes is one of the teamwork activities that we offer. A great opportunity to compete – in a specially-equipped kitchen your group is divided in teams, and each team gets a task to prepare a certain dish. In the presence of the chef and the assistants each team receives pre-cooked products, and concentrating and seriously getting down to work, is trying not to oversalt, overdo and overbake the dish which later will be tasted by all the group during the dinner. A wide selection of wines suitable for every dish complements the pleasure of tasting the self made dinner. Jokes, laughter, selection of the best dish, the presentation of the certificates and prizes, as well as an apron of the company as a gift for everyone – everything happens in the highest level. The teams are united and the group returns to the hotel in good spirits. The goal of the event is reached!

Begin in Florence, and travel through the lovely backroads of Chianti Classico. Why not visit the beautiful city of Siena, before enjoying tastings at the finest estates of Brunello and Vino Nobile de Montepulciano. Watch pecorino cheese being made at the farm, and enjoy free time to explore the medieval villages of Pienza, San Gimignano or Cortona along the way. Then on to coastal Maremma, home to the famous "Super Tuscans", where you will enjoy VIP tastings at the most prestigious vineyards like Ornellaia, Sassicaia, Antinori.

And not only Tuscany... the province of Piedmont cannot be missed. Excellent wines with distinctive taste can be found in Sicily and Sardinia, the reason is the unique, warm climate on the islands. The region of Friuli is famous as well. Each of these places can be visited choosing a Wine Tour in Italy.

 Incentives in France

„Wine is a national treasure for French people, as well as 360 varieties of cheese and it’s culture”, French philosopher Roland Barthes said.

It is not a secret that France is one of the most important wine producers in the world (about 8 billion bottles a year). All common styles of wine – red, rosé, white (dry, semi-sweet and sweet), sparkling and fortified – are produced in France. In most of these styles, the French production ranges from cheap and simple versions to some of the world's most famous and expensive examples. An exception is French fortified wines, which tend to be relatively unknown outside France.

In many respects, French wines have more of a regional than a national identity, as evidenced by different grape varieties, production methods and different classification systems in the various regions. Quality levels and prices vary enormously, and some wines are made for immediate consumption while other are meant for long-time cellaring.

If there is one thing that most French wines have in common, it is that most styles have developed as wines meant to accompany food, be it a quick baguette, a simple bistro meal, or a full-fledged multi-course menu. Since the French tradition is to serve wine with food, wines have seldom been developed or styled as "bar wines" for drinking on their own, or to impress in tastings when young.

Participation in the grape harvest

Grape harvest – for a winemaker it is both a feast and the next important step in the complicated  wine making process. You will have a unique possibility not only to see a grape harvest, but also participate in it. You will cut your bunch of grapes considering all harvest conditions, then you will trace its path from vineyard to the winery,  where you will see what happens with the bunch during the vinification. You will be accompanied to the cellars where the wine is trasformed in a precious drink, ready for use. After the „working day” you will be invited to have a meal together with the owners of winery where drinking a glass or two  you will have an oppurtunity to ask some questions...and maybe learn the secrets of winemakers.
